Sam has lived with us for only a relatively short time (since December 2008) due to his previous owner needing to rehome him due to personal circumstances. We were a little worried at first as to how he would get on with the cats of the household as he had never lived with cats before, but he soon befriended them all & one in particular seems to have really bonded with him - Sam is often seen sharing his bed with Felix!! Although Sam is in his twilight years (he is nearly 11), he still enjoys endless walks & meeting up with his many canine pals. Sam came along at just the right time for us as a year had passed since we lost Tramp & we felt the time was right to get another dog, but before we had a chance to visit the rescue centres the option to home Sam arose - (how lucky we are - he is a perfect friend & very much loved).
